Okay, here’s my blog post about Conner or Montgomery, written from my personal experience:
Alright, so fantasy football draft time rolled around, and I was staring at the screen, totally frozen. Conner or Montgomery? It felt like choosing between pizza and tacos – both awesome, but which one do I really want right now?
First, I pulled up their stats from last year. You know, the usual drill – rushing yards, touchdowns, receptions. I even looked at some expert rankings, just to get a feel for what the “smart” people were saying. But honestly, it just made my head spin more.
Digging Deeper
Next, I started thinking about their teams. What kind of offenses are they in? Are the offensive lines any good? Because, let’s be real, a running back is only as good as the guys blocking for him. I spent a good hour just reading team previews and injury reports. My wife probably thought I was nuts, muttering about offensive schemes and run-blocking grades.
- Conner: Arizona. New Coach, some what to be seen.
- Montgomery: Detroit Lions. New team, but, fresh start?
Then, I tried to remember how they’d performed against my team in the past. Because, you know, sometimes you just have a gut feeling about a player. Like, “Oh, that guy always torches me!” I scrolled through old game logs, trying to find any little clue that would push me one way or the other.
The “Aha!” Moment (Maybe?)
Finally, after what felt like an eternity,I just made my choice: Montgomery. Because it will be fun to watch him at the Lions!
So, there you have it. That’s how I finally made my decision. Was it scientific? Not really. Was it stressful? Absolutely. But hey, that’s fantasy football, right? Now, let’s just hope I don’t regret it in a few weeks! Wish me luck…I think I’ll need it.
