My Quest to Find Out Dennis Rodman’s Height
So, the other day, I was just flipping through some old sports clips, you know, reminiscing about the 90s Chicago Bulls. Man, those were the days! And then Dennis Rodman pops up on screen, grabbing rebounds like a maniac. It got me thinking, just how tall was that guy really? He always seemed kind of lanky but also super strong under the basket.
My first guess? I dunno, maybe 6’8″ or 6’9″? He played power forward, sometimes even center, so you figure he’s gotta be up there. But then again, next to guys like Jordan or Pippen, his exact height wasn’t immediately obvious. He had that unique build, you know?
So, I did what anyone does these days. I pulled out my phone. Didn’t even bother with a fancy search. Just typed it straight in: how tall is dennis rodman.
Hit search. And bam, the results started loading.
Turns out, most places list him like this:
- 6 feet 7 inches
- Or, for those using metric, about 2.01 meters
Huh. 6’7″. A bit shorter than my initial guess, but still pretty tall, obviously. It makes his rebounding even more impressive when you think about it. He wasn’t usually the tallest guy on the court, but he played like he was ten feet tall. Pure hustle and knowing where the ball was going.
It’s funny how sometimes you have these images of athletes in your head, and the actual numbers are a little different. Finding that out was my little project for the moment. Just a quick search, but it satisfied my curiosity. Now, back to those Bulls highlights!
