Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole Dakota Kai in WWE thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. Started off just browsing through some stuff, and I stumbled upon her name. I was like, “Dakota Kai… I know that name.” Then it hit me – she’s that wrestler chick!
So, I started digging. First thing I did was just watch some of her matches, you know, to get a feel for her style. Man, she’s got some moves! I was especially hooked on that one match, the Triple Threat one, that was wild! I watched that like three times in a row.
Then, I decided to go a bit deeper. I found out she had this whole history in NXT. Apparently, she used to be best buds with Tegan Nox, but then, bam! At this WarGames thing in 2019, she turned on her. That’s some drama right there, I was hooked, I had to see it for myself, I watched that entire event, that was something.
After that, I learned that she had this championship match against Rose, but she lost. And get this, that was her last appearance in NXT! I was like, “No way! What happened?” Turns out, she got released from her contract in 2022. Rumor has it she told them she wasn’t planning on renewing, so they just let her go. Wild, right?
But here’s the kicker: she got a call from Triple H, yes, THE Triple H, right before SummerSlam! I was trying to find out what the deal with that was when I realized that I was probably the first one to know, I felt like I was in a movie, it was such a thrill, like, I was the first one to know this secret, it felt so good!
So, yeah, that’s my whole Dakota Kai deep dive in a nutshell. I went from just recognizing her name to learning about her entire WWE journey. It’s been a wild ride, but super interesting. It’s crazy how you can start with one little thing and end up down this whole rabbit hole of information. Now I was so excited about this entire discovery!
- She’s a beast in the ring.
- She had a major heel turn at NXT WarGames 2019.
- She lost her NXT Women’s Championship match against Rose.
- She got released from her WWE contract in 2022.
- Triple H reached out to her before SummerSlam, how crazy is that!
Here’s what I found out:
I spent way too much time on this, but hey, it was fun! I got to see some awesome matches and learned a lot about Dakota Kai’s career. Definitely worth it, even though my sleep schedule is probably messed up now. I feel like a WWE insider or something!
