Okay, so today I decided to check out the stats for the Dallas Mavericks vs. Lakers game. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for a while, and I finally got around to it.

First, I started looking for the official Mavericks website. You know, the one with all the news, schedules, and stuff. I browsed around there for a bit, found their schedule, and even saw they were selling tickets. Nothing that I want.
Then, I headed over to this other website, you know, that big sports one. There, I found some live scores and video highlights for the Mavericks, but not really what I was looking for. I needed those detailed player stats.
I kept searching, and found an article talking about this one game where Luka Doncic scored a ton of points and the Mavs beat the Lakers, especially since LeBron wasn’t playing. This was from a while back, 2022, I think. But it got me excited, so I dug deeper.
Then I found another summary of a game from December 25th where Doncic also scored a lot. I mean, this guy is good!
Here’s what I did step-by-step:
- Opened my browser and started with a general search.
- Checked the official team websites.
- Visited that big sports news site.
- Read through a few articles about past games.
- Focused on games where Doncic had high scores.
It took a bit of time to find exactly what I was looking for. There was some pretty irrelevant info out there, like some weird stuff about “false positives” that I’m not even gonna get into.
But yeah, I eventually got a decent overview of how the Mavs and Lakers have been doing against each other and some idea of the player stats, especially Doncic’s. He’s definitely a player to watch! That’s pretty much it for my little adventure today. Just wanted to share my findings with y’all!
