Okay, so a while back, I started seeing these videos from this girl named Grace Charis. She’s, like, a golf influencer, and honestly, I didn’t get the hype at first. I mean, she’s not a pro or anything, just some girl who started playing golf a couple of years ago and posting about it online. But her videos kept popping up, and I have to admit, they were kind of interesting. She’s got this massive following on Instagram and TikTok – millions of people watching her golf stuff. It’s wild.
So I got curious. I thought, “What’s the deal with this Grace Charis?” And I started digging around a bit. Turns out, there’s this thing called “Discover Grace,” and it’s like these classes or something. I guess the idea is that they help you figure out your purpose and live a better life. I saw there were four of these classes with names like “How is Grace Church Unique?” and stuff. Sounded a bit churchy to me, but I was still intrigued.
Then I found these discussion guides for something called “Discovery Groups.” Apparently, they were connected to Grace Church. It got me thinking, maybe there’s more to this Grace thing than just some girl on social media. Maybe it’s like a whole community or something.
I kept digging, and it turns out there’s this thing called “The Grace Course.” It’s an eight-session study for small groups, and they say it helps you connect with God’s grace. Okay, definitely getting church vibes now. But I was still kind of interested in what all of this meant.
I even stumbled upon this event, like a “check out Grace” kind of thing, where you can just go and see what it’s all about. They said it was low-key and a good way to see if it’s a place you want to worship. I don’t know, I was on the fence about the whole worship thing, but the idea of checking it out was tempting.
Then there’s this other thing about learning how to lead people in discipleship. They call it “discipleship,” which sounds pretty serious. It’s like a peek into how Grace Church operates. They had these Wednesday meetings from 6:30 to 8 PM starting June 19th. I don’t know if I’m ready to lead anyone anywhere, but it was interesting to see how they did things.
So, after all this digging, I realized that Grace Charis, the golf influencer, and this whole “Discover Grace” thing are connected. It’s like she’s part of this bigger community at Grace Church. I don’t know if I’ll ever join a Discovery Group or go to one of those Wednesday meetings, but it was definitely an interesting journey. It went from just seeing some golf videos to discovering this whole other world. I’m still not sure what I think about all of it, but it sure was a wild ride trying to figure it all out.

Who knows, maybe Grace Charis will inspire me to pick up a club someday.
