Okay, so I was messing around online today and got into one of those weird rabbit holes, you know? It all started with me watching some old football highlights, and Johnny Manziel’s name popped up. I remember him being a HUGE deal back in college, but then things kinda fizzled out in the NFL. That got me thinking, “How tall is that guy, anyway?”
Digging for the Info
First, I just hit up a quick search. I figured the basic info would be everywhere, and I was right. Most places listed him at right around 6 feet tall, maybe a tiny bit over. But then I started seeing some variations. Some sites had him at 5’11”, others a little taller. It wasn’t a huge difference, but it was enough to make me wonder.
So, naturally, I went deeper. I started checking out some forums and discussion boards. You know, places where real people were talking, not just websites spitting out stats. I figured maybe someone had met him in person or something. I found some old threads where people were debating his height, comparing him to other players, and even posting pictures.
Comparing and Contrasting
- I looked at photos of him next to other quarterbacks whose heights I could easily find. That gave me a better visual comparison.
- I read a bunch of articles about his NFL Combine measurements. Apparently, those are super official, so they should be pretty accurate.
- I even tried to find some old interviews where he might have talked about it himself, just for fun.
After all that, I feel pretty confident saying the guy is pretty much 6 feet, give or take an inch. It’s funny how much time you can spend on something so simple, but hey, that’s the internet for you! It was a fun little fact-finding mission, and I actually learned a bit more about Manziel’s career in the process. He actually played good football, all things considered!
