OK, so let’s talk about this whole “Eric Cole Golf” thing. I am not a professional player, but, yeah, I decided to try and learn more about this game and see what I can do. So I started by just trying to figure out who this Eric Cole guy is. Turns out, he’s some hotshot golfer, born in 1988, from Delray Beach. Pretty cool, right? I dug around, checked out his stats, and some videos online. You know, the usual stuff when you’re trying to get into something new.
I went to the golf range a couple of times, trying to get the hang of it. I even read some stuff online. Some education information from a website called ERIC. It’s some sort of an online library. Not bad, it was helpful.
- First time at the range: Total disaster. I was slicing the ball all over the place.
- Second time: A little better. I started to understand the swing a bit more.
- Third time: This is when it started to click. I was hitting the ball straighter and further.
I also tried to find some good deals on equipment, you know, because this stuff can get expensive. I looked up some local businesses to find the best clubs and stuff. Found some places, went down there, and got myself a decent set of clubs without breaking the bank. I was feeling pretty good about my progress.
Getting better every time
I kept practicing, kept watching videos, and tried to find any information that might be helpful. One day I came across a site with some videos, but the encoding was all messed up. It was something about converting encoding to a format that internal apps can recognize. I am not really good at this but had to figure out how to watch these videos. I tried some different players and finally got them to work. It was a hassle, but I learned a lot in the process.
Honestly, I’m still not great, but I’m having fun. And that’s what matters, right? It’s all about the journey, the small victories, and learning something new every day. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be able to play a full round without embarrassing myself too much.
