Okay, so Halloween is just around the corner, and this year I decided to go as Erin Andrews. I thought, “Why not? She’s cool, she’s sporty, and I can totally rock her look.” So, I started digging around for ideas. I browsed through a bunch of articles and blogs, trying to find the perfect way to pull this off.
Getting Started
First, I needed to figure out what Erin Andrews typically wears. I noticed she’s often in stylish yet comfy outfits, especially when she’s reporting from the sidelines. I figured I’d need something that screams “sports reporter” but is also kind of fashionable, you know?
Gathering the Pieces
- I hit up a few stores and found a sharp-looking blazer. I think a blazer is a must-have to nail that professional vibe.
- Next, I picked up a simple, solid-colored blouse. Something not too flashy, just classy.
- For the bottoms, I opted for some dark skinny jeans. I mean, they’re comfy, and Erin often wears something similar.
- Shoes were a bit tricky. I wanted something practical but stylish, so I went with ankle boots. They look great and are comfy enough to wear all night.
Adding the Details
Of course, a costume isn’t complete without the right accessories. I made a makeshift microphone by wrapping a toilet paper roll in black tape and attaching a foam ball on top. It looks surprisingly legit!
I also grabbed a lanyard and printed out a fake press pass. I just searched for a template online, added a photo of myself, and wrote “Sideline Reporter” on it.
The Final Touches
To really capture Erin’s look, I paid attention to my hair and makeup. I styled my hair in loose waves, kind of like how she usually wears hers. For makeup, I kept it pretty natural, just a bit of mascara, blush, and lip gloss.
Rocking the Costume
On Halloween night, I put everything together, and honestly, I felt great. I walked around with my mic and press pass, and people actually recognized who I was supposed to be! It was a blast, and I even got a few compliments on how I pulled it off.
All in all, it was a super fun experience putting together this Erin Andrews costume. It was a bit of work, but it was totally worth it. I learned a thing or two about her style, and I had a blast pretending to be a sideline reporter for the night. If you’re looking for a cool, slightly different Halloween costume, I definitely recommend giving this one a try!
