Okay, so I got really into this idea of finding out everything I could about the Mickey Mantle statue. You know, the one at Yankee Stadium? I’m a huge Yankees fan, and Mantle is, like, a total legend. So, I decided to make it my little project. I was like detective on personal project.
Digging for Info
First, I started with a simple search. Just typed in “Mickey Mantle statue” and hit enter. I found a few different sources of information.
- The first article I read gave me the location: Mickey Mantle Monument.
- I also learned that his monument was dedicated on Mickey Mantle Day, June 8, 1969.
- Then I tried looking in specific statue, found that it was dedicated on August 25, 1996.
Putting It All Together
After searching and browsing for a good while, I felt like I had a pretty solid grasp of the statue’s story. I organized all my notes.
I thought it was so cool to collect information on the Internet, and I ended up feeling like a bit of an expert on the Mickey Mantle statue. It was also my personal interest to gather this infomation.
