I immediately marked January 19, 2024, on my calendar. That was the day we’d get the full scoop on what’s coming.
I made sure to tune into the official Twitch channel at 7:00 AM (UTC-5). Couldn’t miss it! And, just in case, I had the YouTube stream on standby for an hour later. I wasn’t taking any chances of missing out on those juicy details.
Fast forward to the livestream, and boom, they confirmed the January 31st release date. My excitement went through the roof! I started counting down the days, literally. I even made a little countdown timer on my phone. It felt like forever, but hey, good things come to those who wait, right?
Then came the pre-installation announcement. I jumped on that so fast. I cleared up some space on my device and got everything downloaded and ready to go. I wasn’t about to let slow download speeds ruin my day when 4.4 dropped.
Finally, the big day arrived. Well, technically, it was the night before for me, since I’m in the US, but you know what I mean. I stayed up, refreshing the game every few minutes. And when that update finally went live, I was one of the first to dive in.
