Well, let me tell you, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this WWE 2023 PPV schedule thing. Sounds like a whole bunch of wrasslin’ shows, that’s what it is. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I reckon I can still figure out what’s what. They call it “pay-per-view,” like you gotta pay to watch it. Sounds crazy to me!
They got all these fancy names for ’em, like “Royal Rumble” and “WrestleMania.” Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it. But the young’uns, they sure do love it. They said 2023 got lots of shows, they like it, and that is good.
They say this one called “NXT New Year’s Evil” was in January, the 10th. That’s what they said. 2023, you know. It was in Orlando, where they got that big mouse, I reckon. People like to watch, they cheer, and they boo. That is what they like to do. Also, someone told me that the WWE calls the “pay-per-view” thing “Premium Live Events.” I don’t know why they like to use many big words. But these events make WWE a lot of money. That’s for sure.

And that ain’t all, no sir. They got more of these things comin’. I heard ’em say somethin’ about one in June, somethin’ about a revival, like bringin’ somethin’ back from the dead. It was June 20, 2023. These young people, they know every date. And this one, I think it’s called “Fastlane,” is on October 7th. It is Saturday, so maybe I will watch too. Indianapolis, they say, is where it’s gonna be. And it’s gonna have wrestlers from “Raw” and “SmackDown.” Whatever that means. They sure do have a lot of names for things. October 7, 2023. Mark my words. They called it Fastlane. Sound fast. It must be exciting.
They got one almost every month. Each month, you know. Sometimes one, sometimes two. Each one of these shows is like three hours long, and they got six, maybe twelve matches. Sometimes I really don’t know why they like to fight. But they do. And people pay to watch them fight. This is how these WWE guys earn their money. I guess that’s how they do it these days. And they said that WWE have a lot of shows in 2023.
Now, there was somethin’ they was sayin’ about somethin’ called “Saturday Night’s Main Event.” They say it is like a small “pay-per-view”. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. They say it’s gonna be on a Saturday night, well, that much I can understand. It is like a big deal, and they need to prepare. It is in between “Survivor Series” and “Royal Rumble”. I think these are also shows. A lot of shows, and they all have names. But they said that this “Saturday Night’s Main Event” is special.
And you can watch these on your TV, if you got the right stuff. They was talkin’ ’bout somethin’ called “Peacock” and “DirecTV Stream.” Sounds like a bunch of fancy words to me. But they said you can watch it at 8 p.m. ET. What is ET? I don’t know. 5 p.m. PT, whatever that is. These young people sure do like their TV shows, that’s for sure.
This WWE 2023 schedule, it’s a long one. Lots of wrasslin’ to watch if that’s your thing. They got all sorts of names for these things, like I said. But I guess if you like watchin’ big men throw each other around, then this is for you. It is good for these young people. They have something to watch and have fun.
I still don’t rightly understand all of it, but the young’uns, they seem to love it. They’ll be hootin’ and hollerin’ at the TV, just like they always do. And I’ll be there, watchin’ ’em, wonderin’ what all the fuss is about. But hey, as long as they’re happy, I reckon that’s all that matters. And they said that there will be more shows to come in 2023. You can find the list somewhere. I don’t know where, but they will tell you.

And if you like that sort of thing, then you’re in for a treat. If you want to know more, you need to ask these young people. They know everything. Just remember what that old lady told you, and you’ll be alright. I think I will just stick to my garden. And maybe watch one show with them. Maybe that Fastlane.
