I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz around Vice golf balls lately, and honestly, I was curious. You know how it is, always on the lookout for something that might give you a little edge on the course. So, I decided to pick up a sleeve and see what all the fuss was about.
First off, I shopped around a bit. Didn’t want to just jump in blind, you know? I checked out a few different places, compared prices, and finally settled on a place that seemed like a good deal.
When they arrived, I was pretty stoked. The packaging was slick, and the balls themselves, well, they looked pretty sweet. I got the Vice Black ones, and they had this matte finish that just looked cool. Felt good in my hand, too. Not too soft, not too hard.
- Took them out to the course the next day.
- Teed one up and gave it a whack.
- Felt good off the tee, nice and solid.
- Noticed right away that they flew pretty straight. My usual slice seemed a little less pronounced, which was a nice surprise.
Around the greens, they performed pretty well, too. Had good stopping power on the chips and pitches. Didn’t feel like they were going to bounce off into the next county. Putting was decent as well. They rolled true, and I felt like I had a good feel for the distance.
Overall Thoughts
Honestly, I was impressed. These Vice Black golf balls, they lived up to the hype, at least for me. They felt great, performed well, and didn’t break the bank. I am planning to keep using them for a while and see how they hold up over time. Maybe I will try some of the other colors, too, just for kicks. If you’re looking for a new ball to try, I’d say give these a shot. You might be pleasantly surprised.
