Okay, so today I decided to dive into the world of golf majors and figure out who all the winners were. I’ve always heard about these tournaments – the Masters, the PGA Championship, The Open, and the U.S. Open – but I never really took the time to look into the champions.

Getting Started
First, I grabbed my laptop and opened up my browser. I figured the best place to start was just a simple search. I typed in “golf major winners” and hit enter. The search engine did its thing, and boom, tons of results popped up.
Digging Through the Results
I started clicking through some of the top websites. It was a little overwhelming at first, there was just so much information! Many sites listed all the winners, year by year, for each major. I started to slowly understand the history, and I saw some very familiar names popping up frequently.
Organizing My Findings
I decided I needed a way to keep track of all this. So, I opened up a simple spreadsheet. I created columns for the year, the tournament, and the winner. Then, I just started copying and pasting the information from the websites into my spreadsheet. It was a bit tedious, but it felt good to get organized.

- Tournament

What have I done
After a while of this, I had a pretty solid list of all the major winners. It’s amazing to see the history of these tournaments and the incredible players who have won them. I feel like I have a much better grasp of the “big names” in golf now, and next time I watch a major, I’ll have some real context!
