Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with creating a custom profile picture, you know, those cool AI-generated ones. I’d been seeing “greg rousseau” pop up, and figured I’d give it a shot. Here’s how it went down.

First, I needed some pictures of myself. I grabbed about 10-15 photos, making sure they were all different. Different angles, different lighting, some smiling, some serious – you get the idea. Just everyday kind of shots I made. I didn’t want anything fancy, just regular pictures of me doing normal stuff.
Finding a Site or App
Next, I went online and searched for AI avatar generators. I found a few different websites and apps that seemed popular. Some were free, some wanted you to pay. I ended up choosing one that had a free trial, figuring I could test it out without dropping any cash.
Uploading and Waiting
Once I picked a site, I followed their instructions. It was pretty straightforward: I created an account, then uploaded all those pictures I had picked out. Then, I made the selection to generate “greg rousseau” style picture. After that, it was just a waiting game. The site said it could take anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on how busy they were. So, I went and did other stuff while it was working.
Checking the Results
A while later, I got an email saying my avatars were ready. I logged back in and, boom, there they were! A whole bunch of different profile picture options, all based on my photos. It was pretty cool. I looked through them and saw some that I really liked, some that were kind of “meh,” and a few that were just straight-up weird. That’s AI for you, I guess!
Picking and Using
I picked out a couple that I thought looked good and downloaded them. The site let me download high-resolution versions, which was nice. Then, I just went to my social media profile and updated my picture. Done and done!
Overall, it was a pretty easy process. The hardest part was probably just waiting for the AI to do its thing. If you’re looking to create some unique profile pictures, I’d say give it a try. Just be prepared for some potentially goofy results mixed in with the good ones!
