Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into this “Habitat Heroes” thing in Monopoly Go, trying to snag all those extra dice and goodies. Here’s the lowdown on what I did, and what worked (and didn’t) for me.
Getting Started: The Basics
First things first, I made sure I had the latest version of Monopoly Go installed. I found it from app store. Sounds obvious, but you never know! Then, it was all about just playing the game normally. Roll the dice, move around the board, the usual Monopoly stuff.
Focusing on the Habitat Heroes Event
The Habitat Heroes stuff pops up as you’re playing. You’ll see these little icons on certain spaces. My main strategy was to try and land on those as much as possible. Sometimes it felt like pure luck, other times I tried to be a bit more strategic with my dice rolls (though, let’s be honest, it’s mostly luck!).
Key Activities：
- Landing on Event Spaces: These are the bread and butter. Each time you land on one, you get points towards the Habitat Heroes rewards.
- Completing Objectives: I noticed there were daily and overall objectives tied to the event. Things like “Collect X number of points” or “Land on a specific type of space”. I knocked these out as quickly as I could.
- Using Boosts (Carefully): I had a few dice roll boosts saved up. I used them very sparingly, mostly when I was close to a cluster of Habitat Heroes spaces, or when a really good reward was within reach. Wasting boosts is a no-no.
My Progression & Rewards
It took a while, but I kept plugging away.I start to play the game and click on the “Habitat Heroes” in the top of the main screen. I find the rewards bar.
At first, the rewards were small, like a few extra dice or some cash. But as I collected more points, I started unlocking better stuff. The big prizes were definitely worth it, things like sticker packs and a bunch of extra dice rolls that helped me keep playing (and earning more rewards!).
I also tried to participate in the tournaments that coincided with the event. These gave out bonus points, which helped me speed up my progress. Finishing even in the middle of the pack in a tournament was a nice little boost.
What I Learned (the Hard Way)
- Don’t Get Greedy: There were times I tried too hard to land on specific spaces, and ended up wasting dice rolls. It’s better to play it cool and let the game come to you.
- Patience is Key: This isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. You’re not going to get all the rewards in a day. Just keep playing consistently, and you’ll get there.
- Check the Timers: The Habitat Heroes event isn’t permanent! I made sure to keep an eye on the countdown timer so I didn’t miss out on any last-minute rewards.
All in all, I got a decent haul of rewards from the Habitat Heroes event. It took some dedication, but it was a fun way to spice up my usual Monopoly Go gameplay. Good luck to everybody who gives it a shot!
