Okay, so today I decided to finally tackle those “harmony trailblazer mats” I’ve been needing for my Honkai: Star Rail account. I’ve been putting it off, but my Trailblazer is seriously lagging behind, and it’s time to get them powered up!
First things first, I needed to figure out exactly which mats I was missing. I opened up the game and checked my Trailblazer’s Harmony path requirements. Yep, lots of red exclamation points staring back at me. Mostly, I was short on those “Thief’s Instinct” and their upgraded versions, “Usurper’s Scheme” and “Conqueror’s Will.” You know, the ones you get from those annoying Voidranger: Distorter enemies.
So, I went and found out the best spot to farm them. After a bit of time, I choose “Storage Zone” in “Herta Space Station”. Seemed like a good a place as any, and I needed a ton of these things.
- First run: Ugh, mostly just the basic Thief’s Instinct. Not bad, but I need the higher-level stuff too.
- Second,third and fourth run…: More of the same. Starting to feel the grind, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do.
After I get enough “Thief’s Instinct”,I started battling the higher-level versions in “Base Zone”.They hit harder, but drop better loot. Slowly but surely, I started getting those “Usurper’s Scheme” I needed.
Making Some Progress
I was mixing it up, I was starting to get a decent haul of materials. I even managed to snag a few “Conqueror’s Will” along the way, which was a nice bonus. Those are always the hardest to get, it seems.
Finally, after a few hours of grinding, I started to get there! I took a break to grab a snack, because let’s be real, staring at that same stage over and over gets * when I open the Trailblazer’s menu, It’s done! Time to ascend my Trailblazer and watch those stats go up! It felt good to finally check this off my to-do list.
It was a bit of a slog, but hey, that’s gacha games for you. At least now my Trailblazer is ready to kick some serious butt! And, you know, look a little more stylish while doing it.
