Alright, guys, let’s talk about how I finally managed to snag not one, but two Lightbringers of Iridescent in Dead by Daylight. It was a grind, I’m not gonna lie, but totally worth it in the end. I mean, who doesn’t want those shiny emblems, right?

First, I picked my survivor. I went with Claudette because, well, she’s small and blends in pretty well. Self-Care is also a lifesaver, literally. I wasn’t feeling super confident with my looping skills, so I figured staying hidden and healing up when needed was my best bet.
My Game Plan
- Focus on gens. Seriously, this is the biggest thing. I made it my mission to pop those generators as fast as humanly possible.
- Stay out of sight. I wasn’t trying to be the hero. If I saw the killer, I was gone. Crouching, hiding behind stuff, whatever it took.
- Unhook safely. If someone got hooked, I waited for the opportune moment. No risky saves, just smart ones. If the killer was camping, I went back to gens. It sucks, but it’s better than both of us ending up on hooks.
- Heal, heal, heal. Like I said, Self-Care was my best friend. I topped myself off whenever I got the chance.
So, I loaded into a match, and immediately started looking for a generator. I found one pretty quickly and got to work. I kept an eye on the auras of my teammates, just to get a sense of where everyone was and, more importantly, where the killer was.
The first few minutes were tense. I heard the heartbeat a couple of times, but thankfully, the killer went after someone else. I finished that first gen and moved on to the next. I made sure to hit those skill checks – messing those up is a surefire way to alert the killer to your location.
Things were going pretty smoothly. We popped a couple more gens, and then… disaster. Someone got downed near me. I peeked around the corner and saw the killer hooking them. I waited, crouching behind some debris. The killer started to patrol, but thankfully moved away. I ran in, unhooked my teammate, and we both scooted out of there.
We managed to get all five gens done, but not without some close calls. I got chased a couple of times, but I managed to lose the killer by ducking into some jungle gyms and using the environment to my advantage. I used the pallet as a tool and made sure my teammate could get a good distance.
Finally, the exit gates were powered! I waited for the killer to commit to a chase on another survivor before opening them so I could finish my emblem. I opened the gates and get out. Phew!
I repeated this strategy in the next match. It wasn’t always perfect – sometimes I got caught, sometimes I had to make tough choices – but by focusing on gens, staying stealthy, and playing it safe, I managed to get that second Iridescent Lightbringer.
It’s definitely doable, guys. Just be patient, play smart, and don’t get greedy. Good luck!
