Well, lemme tell ya, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this here game, MLB The Show 23. They say it’s got these “ranked” things, sounds like a whole lotta somethin’ for an old gal like me. But they say it’s got all kinds of ways to play, so maybe even I could figure it out.
Ranked Difficulty in MLB The Show 23
Now, these young’uns, they throw around words like “Beginner,” “Amateur,” and “Legend.” Makes my head spin! But from what I gather, it’s all about how hard this game is gonna be. And ranked difficulty, well, that’s like climbin’ a ladder. You start at the bottom, and if you’re any good, you climb on up. If you ain’t so good, well, you might just slide back down.
Easy Mode
If you’re just startin’ out, like me tryin’ to figure out this newfangled phone, they say there’s somethin’ called “Beginner.” That sounds about right for me. Then there’s “Amateur,” which is a little harder, I reckon. And some “Minors” and “Rookie” things too. Sounds like a baseball game, alright!
- Beginner: This is the easiest one, they say. Good for folks who ain’t never played before.
- Amateur: A little tougher, but still easy, I guess.
- Minors: Gettin’ harder now.
- Rookie: Even harder!
Normal Mode
Then there’s somethin’ called “Normal.” I guess that’s for folks who know what they’re doin’. They say there’s “Veteran,” which is for people who’ve played before. And then there’s another one, but I forget what they called it. Two of ’em in this “Normal” thing.
- Veteran: This one’s for folks who’ve played the game before.
- Another one I can’t recall: I guess it’s normal too.
Hard Mode in MLB The Show 23
Now, if you’re one of them hotshots, they got somethin’ called “Hard.” There’s “Hall of Fame,” which sounds mighty fancy. And “Legend,” which they say is the hardest of ’em all. Only for the best of the best, I reckon.
- Hall of Fame: Sounds tough!
- Legend: This is the hardest one, they say.
Dynamic Difficulty
They also got this thing called “Dynamic.” Sounds like a hoot! It’s like the game watches how you’re doin’ and changes how hard it is based on that. So if you’re doin’ good, it gets harder. If you’re doin’ bad, it gets easier. Kinda like life, I suppose.
Dynamic difficulty, they say it starts you out on “Beginner.” And if you start hittin’ them balls outta the park, it’ll bump you up to somethin’ harder. That way, you ain’t always playin’ against folks who are way better or way worse than you. Keeps things interestin’, I reckon. The best setting for MLB the Show 23 is dynamic difficulty.
How to Hit
They say the easiest way to hit in this game is with somethin’ called “timing hitting.” Sounds simple enough. You just gotta time your swing right and press a button. There’s other ways to hit, but they say this is the easiest one to learn.
When you play MLB The Show 23 ranked, if you hit the down arrow, you can change these here difficulty settings. It changes the speed of the pitches and some other stuff I don’t quite understand.
Now I heard some folks sayin’ there should just be one difficulty for this “Ranked Seasons” thing. Maybe they’re right. Makes sense to me to have everyone playin’ the same game. But I ain’t no expert. All I know is, this MLB The Show 23, it’s got a whole lot goin’ on. More than I can keep up with, that’s for sure!
This here game, it’s got somethin’ for everyone, I reckon. Whether you’re a beginner like me or a seasoned pro, you can find a way to play that suits ya. And that’s a good thing, I suppose. Keeps things interestin’. MLB the show 23 difficulty settings are easy to learn. Just keep playin’ and you’ll figure it out.
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about this here MLB The Show 23 and its “ranked” difficulty. It’s a lot to take in, but I hope I explained it in a way that makes sense. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go tend to my garden. These tomatoes ain’t gonna pick themselves!
