Alright, let’s talk about this ‘Twist to the Top’ thing in Monopoly Go. Saw it pop up, another tournament, you know how it is. Thought I’d give it a whirl, see what rewards were on the table this time around.

Getting Started
First thing I did was check the rewards list. Looked pretty standard – dice, cash, sticker packs, the usual stuff. The top prizes always look shiny, but getting there takes a serious amount of dice, sometimes more than you get back. I decided to just play it cool, see how things went without burning through everything immediately.
The goal was landing on specific tiles, looked like Railroads were the main point earners for this one, typical tournament style. So, the plan was simple: try and hit those railroads as much as possible.
The Grind
So, I started rolling. Kept the multiplier low at first, just testing the waters. Landed on a few railroads, got some points on the board. Felt okay. Then I got a bit bolder, upped the multiplier when I was a few spaces away from a railroad. Sometimes it worked out great, huge points boost! Other times, bam, straight past it or landed on something useless like Free Parking right before it. You know the feeling.
There were definitely moments where I was just stuck in a loop, landing on Chance or Community Chest, sending me god knows where, nowhere near the tiles I needed. That eats up dice fast. Frustrating stuff.
Managed to hit a few milestones along the way:
- Some early cash bundles – always helpful for upgrades.
- Dice rolls – desperately needed those to keep going.
- A green sticker pack here and there – mostly duplicates, naturally.
I wasn’t aiming for the absolute top spot on the leaderboard, those guys must spend a fortune or have insane luck. Just wanted to get as many milestone rewards as I could manage reasonably.
Hitting a Wall (and some rewards)
Progressed steadily for a bit, unlocked maybe half the rewards track? The points needed for the higher tiers really started to ramp up though. That’s when you gotta decide if it’s worth dumping serious dice into it.
I pushed a bit more, using a higher multiplier during a High Roller event that overlapped. That helped climb a few more spots and grab a better sticker pack – I think it was a blue one? Still got duplicates, but hey, stars are stars.

Eventually, I hit a point where the next reward felt too far off for the dice I had left. Decided to call it quits for this event, save my remaining dice for whatever comes next. Didn’t reach the very top rewards, but didn’t completely drain my resources either.
Final Thoughts
So, ‘Twist to the Top’? It was… an event. Pretty much like most Monopoly Go tournaments. Land on the right spots, get points, climb the ladder. It requires a mix of luck and a willingness to spend dice. I got some stuff out of it, mainly dice and a few stickers. Didn’t get the grand prize, but wasn’t really expecting to without going all out.
It kept me busy in the game for a while, which is the point I guess. On to the next event!
