Okay, let’s talk about that Gizmo Gourmet event in Monopoly Go. I decided to jump in and really see how far I could get, keeping track of things along the way.

Getting Started with Gizmo Gourmet
So, the event kicked off. First thing I did was open up the game and check the event section to see what the deal was. Looked like the usual setup: land on specific tiles, collect event tokens – those little chef hats or whatever they were this time. My main goal, initially, was just to get a feel for how often those tokens dropped.
I started rolling, just doing my usual laps around the board. Didn’t use any crazy multipliers at first, just wanted to see the baseline. Landed on a few Chance, Community Chest, and Railroad tiles, and sure enough, got those tokens added to the event bar. The first couple of milestones came up pretty fast.
Hitting the Early Milestones
The grind wasn’t too bad at the start. Reaching the first few milestones felt pretty standard.
- Collecting Tokens: Just focused on landing on those key tiles. Railroads seemed decent because they also helped with the ongoing tournament.
- Claiming Rewards: The early rewards were mostly small batches of dice and some cash. I just tapped ‘Claim’ each time the bar filled up for a milestone. Nothing too exciting, but it helped keep the dice pool topped up a bit.
It was straightforward, just playing the game normally accumulated enough points for these initial steps.
Pushing Through the Middle Tiers
Alright, this is where things started needing a bit more attention. The points required for each milestone jumped up noticeably. Just rolling on x1 wasn’t cutting it efficiently anymore.
I started using multipliers more strategically. Waited until I was about 6-8 spaces away from a Railroad or a pickup tile, then bumped the multiplier up. It burned through dice faster, sure, but the token hauls were much better. This helped push through those middle milestones – the ones that offered slightly better dice rewards, maybe a sticker pack here and there.
Strategy Shift: My focus shifted from just playing laps to actively hunting those event tiles with higher multipliers. I also made sure to collect the free event gifts whenever they popped up.
The Grind for the Top Milestones
The later stages, man, they required a lot of tokens. We’re talking thousands per milestone. This was the real test of dice management.

I pretty much only rolled with high multipliers when I felt good about hitting a target tile. Combined this with trying to do well in the side tournaments, because those often gave dice rewards which fueled more event progress. It became a cycle: use dice for event, win dice from tournament, use dice for event again.
The rewards got much better up here, though. Big chunks of dice, blue and purple sticker packs, and eventually, the final prizes like a new shield or token if you got that far. I managed to snag a few of these bigger rewards by carefully timing my high-multiplier rolls and making the most of event overlaps like the High Roller bonus.
Wrapping Up My Gizmo Gourmet Run
I pushed through until I hit a point where the next milestone felt like too much of a dice drain for the reward offered, or until I hit the final milestone I was aiming for. Claimed my last big reward – I think it was a good pile of dice and a 5-star sticker pack for me this time.
Overall, it was a typical Monopoly Go event grind. Started easy, got progressively harder, and required a good bit of dice and strategic multiplier use to get the top prizes. It took consistent playing over the few days it was active. That’s pretty much my run-through of the Gizmo Gourmet milestones, documented as I went!
