Alright, so I decided to get my hands dirty with this “Fontaine Visions” thing. You know, I saw some folks talking about it online and thought, “Why not?” I mean, it looked pretty cool, and I’m always up for a little project.
First off, I spent some time just messing around with it, trying to figure out what the heck was going on. There are a lot of buttons and settings. I poked around, clicked things, and generally just tried to make sense of the interface. It was a bit overwhelming at first, honestly. There’s a lot going on in there!
After I felt like I had a basic grasp of things, I started to do some planning. Like, what did I actually want to achieve with this? I thought about the different characters and started to write down some ideas for each of them. This part took a while because I really wanted to think it through.
- Brainstorming: I basically just wrote down a bunch of random stuff that came to mind for each character. Colors, symbols, keywords, you name it.
- Refining: Then I went back through that mess and tried to pick out the best bits. I wanted to make sure each vision felt unique and matched the character’s personality, you know?
- Sketching: Okay, this was rough. I’m no artist, but I did some really basic sketches just to get a visual idea of what I was aiming for.
Once I had my plan, it was time to actually start creating. I spent hours, just playing around with the different settings. There are a lot of ways to customize things, so it was a lot of trial and error. Move this slider, click that button, change this color. It was fun to do, but it definitely took some time to get things looking right.
The colors were a big deal. I wanted each one to be just right, so I spent a lot of time tweaking the shades and hues until I was happy with them. And then there were the shapes and the symbols. There are a ton of options there, too, so I tried out a bunch of different combinations.
I kept going back and forth, making small changes here and there. I’d get something looking good, then step away for a bit, come back, and realize I hated it. You know how it goes. It’s a process, right? I’d save different versions along the way, just in case I messed something up and wanted to go back to an earlier version.
Finally Getting There
After a lot of work, I finally started to see some results I liked. It was a really good feeling to see my ideas come to life on the screen. I was pretty proud of myself, not gonna lie. It was like, “Hey, I actually made this!” It wasn’t perfect, of course, but it was mine.
So yeah, that’s pretty much how it went. I jumped in, figured things out as I went, planned a bit, and then just spent a lot of time experimenting and tweaking until I got something I was happy with. It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot along the way. I might even do it again sometime, try out some new ideas. Who knows?
