Okay, let’s talk about the Turkey Race event in Monopoly Go. Saw it pop up and thought, “Alright, let’s see what this is about.” Another event, another chance to grab some dice and maybe some cash.

Getting Started with the Turkey Race
So, I jumped into the game like usual. The main thing was collecting those little turkey tokens, right? You landed on certain spots, I think it was Chance, Community Chest, and the Railroads, if I remember correctly, and you’d get points towards the event milestones.
My first few rolls were just regular play. I wasn’t really changing my strategy much. Just doing my daily tasks, trying to land on railroads for the shutdown and heist points, you know the drill. But then I started seeing the milestone bar filling up slowly, and the rewards looked kinda decent.
Hitting the Grind
That’s when I decided to focus a bit more. I started paying attention to where those event pickup tiles were. If I saw a cluster of them coming up, maybe I’d up my dice multiplier. Sometimes it worked, sometimes I blew right past them, which is always annoying, right? Wasted dice!
It definitely took some dedicated playtime. I found myself checking the game more often than usual, trying to maximize my dice regeneration and use the free dice links when I could find them (though we’re not supposed to talk about links here, are we? Haha). It involved:
- Rolling the dice, obviously. A lot.
- Trying to land specifically on the event tiles.
- Collecting the turkey points that popped up.
- Watching that milestone bar creep forward.
Some milestones came quick, especially the early ones. Got a bit of cash, some dice rolls back. That always feels good, keeps you going. But the later milestones, man, they started needing a ton of points. You’d have a good run, get a bunch of points, and the bar barely moved. That’s the grind part.
Pushing Through the Milestones
I remember hitting a wall around the middle milestones. Seemed like I was burning through dice faster than I was earning them back from the rewards. Had a couple of frustrating sessions where I just couldn’t land on the right tiles. You know how it is, the dice gods weren’t smiling on me.
But I kept at it. Used the multiplier strategically, maybe dropping it down to x1 or x3 when I was far away from the target tiles, then bumping it up when I got closer. It’s always a gamble. Landed on a railroad with a high multiplier, got a good bank heist – that helped get more dice to keep going for the event itself.
Wrapping Up the Race
Eventually, I managed to push through most of the milestones I was aiming for. Didn’t get every single one, sometimes you just run out of time or dice, and you gotta call it. But the ones I did hit gave some decent rewards – sticker packs, more dice, some cash. The final reward I reached was pretty substantial, definitely felt worth the effort at that point.

Overall, the Turkey Race was pretty typical for a Monopoly Go event. It took time, it took dice, and a bit of luck. It was a grind, for sure, but seeing those milestones get checked off one by one felt like progress. Was it revolutionary? Nah. Was it a decent way to spend some time in the game and get some extra stuff? Yeah, I’d say so. Just another day rolling the dice.
