Okay, so today I wanted to figure out which card is better in my deck, Muratalla or Farmer Card. I’ve been going back and forth on this for a while, so I decided to just sit down and really test it out.

First, I listed out all my decks that could potentially use either card. It ended up being a pretty short list – mostly just my green/black and green/white decks.
Testing in Green/Black
I started with my green/black deck. This one is all about getting creatures out fast and overwhelming my opponent.
- I played a few games using Muratalla. The extra power boost was nice, but it didn’t feel like it was making a huge difference most of the time.
- Then I swapped in the Farmer Card. Honestly, getting those extra resources was a bit slow. I felt behind.
- I did a couple more games with each, switching back and forth. My gut feeling was that Muratalla was slightly better in this deck, just because it’s so focused on aggression.
Testing in Green/White
Next up was the green/white deck. This deck is a bit more balanced. It can go aggressive, It can also be very defensive. Let’s see:
- With Muratalla in this one, the games felt okay. Nothing spectacular and I’m not sure if that’s because my opponent was using a tough deck.
- Next, the Farmer Card. It seemed to be a bit more balanced and provide an edge.
- After many more games, I think I was able to really get value out of this card.
The Verdict (For Now!)
So, after all that playing, here’s what I’m thinking. In my super-aggressive green/black deck, Muratalla is probably the slightly better choice. But, for my green/white deck, I think I like Farmer Card More.
Of course, this is just my initial impression. I’m going to keep playing with both cards and see if my opinion changes over time. It’s always good to keep experimenting, right?
