Well, guys, it’s been a while, but I’m back with another one of my little experiments. This time it’s all about this guy named Coach Rodney Woods. I’ve heard some buzz about him, and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. So I started digging around.
First, I spent a good chunk of time trying to figure out what makes a good coach, you know? The internet’s full of stuff, so I read up on some powerful coaching questions, and effective coaching techniques, and what’s it mean to be an inclusive leader. I even checked out some books that are supposed to boost your coaching skills.
Then I got into the nitty-gritty of becoming a coach. Apparently, there are three key elements to effective coaching. Don’t ask me what they are, because honestly, it all sounded a bit complicated. But I did get that you need to have some proven tools and ways of doing things if you want to be a good leader and help people do better.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting. I also wanted to get better at solving problems, like a coach or a mentor does. There are tips and strategies for that, but it seemed like a whole other journey. So, I decided to focus on learning about the art of powerful questions and techniques for now.
What I did:
- Spent a few hours reading articles and stuff about coaching.
- Tried to understand what makes a coach effective.
- Looked into this thing called “inclusive leadership.”
- Checked out some books on coaching. Not gonna lie, most of them went over my head.
- Tried asking some of those “powerful questions” to myself. Felt a bit weird, to be honest.
- Watched some videos of people coaching, trying to pick up some techniques.

What I learned:
- Being a coach seems like a lot of work!
- There’s a ton of information out there, and it can be overwhelming.
- Asking the right questions is super important.
- It takes time and practice to get good at this stuff.
Honestly, I’m not sure I’m cut out to be a coach, but it was definitely an interesting experience. I might try to apply some of these techniques in my daily life, just to see what happens. Who knows, maybe I’ll surprise myself. Anyway, that’s it for now. Stay tuned for my next adventure!
