Alright, let’s talk about this Euro thing, whatever they call it… “euro throwbacks objective”, sounds fancy, huh? I don’t know much about these things, but I’ll tell ya what I understand, the way I understand it.
So, there’s this game, some kind of soccer thing, and they got these “objectives,” like little tasks you gotta do. It’s like when the grandkids come over and they got their games, always gotta do this and that to get points or stars or whatever they call ’em. This “Euro Throwbacks,” sounds like they want you to do stuff with old players, from way back when.
The main objective, it seems, is about some fella named Michel Platini. French fella, real good at kickin’ the ball, they say. Scored a whole bunch of goals back in 1984. Nine goals in five games! That’s a lot, even I can figure that out. So, they want you, in the game, to score nine goals too, but only usin’ French players. Any game mode, they say, whatever that means. Just get those French fellas kickin’ and scorin’. That’s the first thing on the list, the big one, the main cheese. Gotta get them French boys to work.
- First thing: Score nine goals with French players. Sounds easy enough, if you know what you’re doing. I sure don’t.
- Second thing: well, they don’t rightly say, do they? It’s a “riddle” they say. Like them puzzles in the newspaper. Humph. Probably gotta figure out some other old players or teams or somethin’. Maybe score with other old-timey players from different countries. They always make things complicated, don’t they?
Now, this “Ultimate Team” thing, sounds like you gotta make a team, the best team, maybe? Pick your players and all that. You find this “Euro Throwbacks” thing in the “Objectives” part, then you gotta go to the “Seasonal” tab. Second thing on the list, they say. See? Not so hard, even for an old woman like me to understand, sorta. It’s all laid out, step by step, like one of them cookin’ recipes.
They say it ain’t like other “objectives.” Most of ‘em, they tell you exactly what to do, straight out. But this one? It’s a “riddle,” they say. Like them things you gotta think about real hard. Like why the rooster crows at dawn, or why the cat always lands on its feet. Some things you just don’t question, and some you gotta puzzle out, I guess. This is one of them puzzlers.
Now, they gave us one answer, that Platini fella. But there’s gotta be more, right? They give you a clue, and you gotta figure out the rest. It’s like when you’re lookin’ for eggs in the henhouse. You find one, you know there’s gotta be more hidin’ somewhere. You just gotta keep lookin’.
This whole thing reminds me of when they switched to that Euro money. Used to have our own money, francs or whatever they were. Then they come along with this Euro thing, all new and different. Confused everyone for a while, but we got used to it. Just like we’ll get used to this game, I guess, if we play it long enough. This Euro, always changin’ things up, even in the games, it seems. Gotta keep up, even if you’re just sittin’ on the porch, watchin’ the world go by.
They say the Euro is good for folks, brings benefits, like they say. Makes things easier, maybe, when you go travelin’ to them fancy countries. And they say the economy, the money stuff, it got better after a while. Like a plant growin’ back after a frost. Takes time, but it comes back stronger. And they’re even talkin’ about a “digital Euro,” some kind of money you can’t even hold in your hand. Sounds like magic to me, but then again, what do I know? I still like countin’ my change the old-fashioned way.
So, this “euro throwbacks objective,” it’s about remembering the old days, the old players, the old ways. But you gotta use the new stuff, the new games, the new technology, to do it. It’s a mix of the old and the new, just like life, I guess. You keep the good things from the past, but you gotta learn to live with the changes, too. And you gotta score them nine goals with them French players. Don’t forget that!
And that’s all I got to say about this “euro throwbacks objective.” Hope it made some sense to ya. If not, well, go ask them youngsters, they seem to know everything about these things these days. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some chickens to feed.
