Okay, let’s talk about this “Queen’s Blood” game in the Junon region. I spent a good chunk of my day messing around with it, and I gotta say, it’s pretty addictive. Started off kinda slow, you know? I was just getting the hang of it, playing against random folks in the area.
First things first, I had to figure out where to even find these matches. Turns out, you stumble upon a lot of them naturally as you explore. I found a few players just hanging around in different spots in the Junon region. Then, I heard that there are more organized challenges like in the Gold Saucer and at something called the Card Carnival. I haven’t hit those up yet, but they’re on my list.
- I started by beating a few of the easier opponents to get some new cards.
- That’s how I started to build up my deck.
- After I got some decent cards, I started to pay more attention to the strategies.
Now, about the strategy. From what I’ve read and tried out, it seems like the best way to win is to focus on boosting the power of your cards and taking over the spots on the board. I didn’t really need any super rare cards to start winning, just ones that could boost power well. I found out that having a strong first column is key. I used a card called Rictus at the top, then a Chimera in the middle, and another Rictus at the bottom. That setup worked pretty well because this other card, Shadowblood Queen, usually doesn’t mess with your back row much.
Getting new cards is straightforward enough. You either beat other players or buy them. I mostly got mine from winning matches. Every time I beat someone, my rank went up a bit, which was cool. There are 30 players in total that boost your rank, so there’s a lot of game to play.
After beating a bunch of folks in the Junon region, I’m preparing to move on to Costa del Sol, where I hear there are even more players. But I spent most of my day in Junon, just grinding those matches and getting my deck in order. The goal, for now, is to keep climbing the ranks and see how far I can go with this.
All in all, it was a productive day of gaming. I’m really getting into Queen’s Blood, and it’s a fun little distraction from the main storyline. If you’re playing through the game, definitely give it a shot. It’s worth the time, especially if you like card games.
