Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Kevin Kisner. I heard some folks talkin’ ‘bout him, so I figured I’d share what I know, or what I heard anyways. Don’t expect no fancy words from me, I just tell it like it is.
So, this Kevin fella, he plays golf. Yeah, that game with the little white ball and them sticks. Folks say he’s pretty good at it, plays on somethin’ called the PGA Tour. That’s like the big leagues for golf, I reckon. He’s been swingin’ them clubs since way back in 2006, that’s a long time to be hittin’ a ball, I tell ya.
Now, I ain’t no golf expert, but I hear tell he’s won a few things. Four PGA Tour wins, they say. And somethin’ over in Europe too, a big match play thing in 2019. Beat some fella named Matt Kuchar, whoever that is. Seems like he knows his way around a golf course, alright.
- He won somethin’ called the Wyndham Championship not too long ago. That was a big deal, I guess. A whole bunch of fellas tied, and he came out on top. Six-man playoff, they called it. Sounds like a real nail-biter.
- They also say he’s made a pile of money playin’ golf. More than 32 million dollars! Lordy, that’s enough to buy a whole lotta biscuits and gravy, I tell ya. Heard he got some of that money from playin’ in somethin’ called The Open and the Presidents Cup. Fancy names, them are.
But even good golfers have their bad days, I reckon. Heard tell he struggled a bit after college. Played golf in college too, that boy did, at a place called Georgia. Guess even the best have their ups and downs, just like the rest of us.
Lately, though, it seems like he’s been doin’ somethin’ different. Still plays golf some, but he’s also talkin’ about golf on TV now. Workin’ for NBC Sports, they say. An “analyst,” they call him. Guess he’s tellin’ folks what’s what on the golf course. Probably knows a thing or two, seein’ as he’s been playin’ for so long. But he ain’t retired yet, no sir. He’s still out there hittin’ that little white ball, just not as much maybe. Probably gets tired, I know I would. All that walkin’ around in the sun.
So, that’s the story on Kevin Kisner, as far as I know it. A good golfer, won some things, made some money, and now he’s talkin’ on TV. Seems like he’s doin’ alright for himself. Good for him, I say. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some sweet tea. All this talkin’ makes a body thirsty.
And you know what else they say? They say he is known for all them runner-up finishes. Comin’ in second ain’t bad, I guess, but it ain’t winnin’ neither. And them “playoff battles” they talk about, sounds like he’s always right there, but sometimes just can’t quite get over the hump. Still, sounds like he puts up a good fight, and that’s somethin’ to be proud of.
Folks can find all sorts of stuff about him online, they say. Stats and videos and whatnot. ESPN, they got a page for him. The PGA Tour too, I reckon. All these fancy websites, hard to keep up with sometimes. But if you want to know more, you can go look him up. Just type his name into that computer thingy, and you’ll find all sorts of stuff, I betcha.
Anyways, that’s all I got on Kevin Kisner. Hope it was helpful, or at least entertainin’. Now, go on and do somethin’ useful, like waterin’ the garden or feedin’ the chickens. That’s what I’m gonna do.
