Alright, so I was catching up on some wrestling stuff the other day, you know, seeing what Cody Rhodes has been up to since his big return and everything. Got me thinking about the guy behind the persona.
I remembered hearing something a while back, but couldn’t quite place it. Does Cody have kids? Decided to actually check it out properly this time. Didn’t do anything fancy, just did a bit of digging around online, you know how it is.
Turns out, yeah, he does. He and his wife, Brandi, have a daughter. Found her name is Liberty. Liberty Runnels, ’cause that’s their family name, right? Not Rhodes.
Let’s see, when was she born? The info I saw pointed to sometime in June 2021. So she’s still pretty young. Down in Atlanta, Georgia, apparently.
It kind of adds another layer to his whole story, doesn’t it? The whole ‘finish the story’ thing feels even bigger when you think about family. You got his dad, the legendary Dusty Rhodes, and his brother Dustin, who we all knew as Goldust for ages. Wrestling is deep in their blood.
Now Cody’s got his own little one. Makes you wonder how being a dad changes things for a guy in that crazy business. Probably gives him even more drive, I guess.
Anyway, that was my little dive into it. Just wanted to confirm what I’d heard. Pretty cool seeing that side of things beyond the ring entrances and the matches. Just a regular family guy when the costume comes off, you know?
