Alright, let’s gab about these basketball fellas, LeBron James and Steph Curry. Folks keep yappin’ about who’s better, so I figured I’d throw in my two cents, even though I don’t know a lick about fancy basketball stuff.
Now, from what I hear, LeBron, this fella, he’s a real workhorse. Strong as an ox, they say. He gets them balls, what do they call ’em? Rebounds, yeah, those. And he passes the ball real good, assists they call it. He even blocks shots, like a wall, I reckon. And he scores too, though maybe not as much as that other fella, Steph.
- LeBron gets more rebounds.
- LeBron gets more assists.
- LeBron gets more blocks.
But see, Steph, he’s a different kinda cat. He throws them balls from way out yonder, and swish! Three-pointers, they’re called. He’s the best at it, they say, in the whole wide world! And he makes his free throws too, real steady like.
Now, some folks are sayin’ LeBron’s been better these past few years, ‘cept for maybe that one year when Steph and his team, the Warriors, they were on fire. LeBron, he’s real good at defense too, when he puts his mind to it, they say he’s way better than Steph on that end. Someone told me he’s number nine on some list, EPM it’s called, whatever that is. And that Steph is number seventeen. Sounds like LeBron wins that one.
But then there’s the money, you know? These fellas make more money than I can even imagine. Steph, he’s gonna make a whole heap of it, more than LeBron even! Can you believe that? For years, LeBron was the top dog, makin’ the most money, but now it’s Steph’s turn, I guess. Money ain’t everything though, that’s what my pappy always said.
They got these folks who rank these players, see? And they used to say Michael Jordan was the best ever, but now some of them are sayin’ it’s LeBron. They keep changin’ their minds, these fellas. It’s hard to keep up, I tell ya.
I heard these two fellas, LeBron and Steph, they even played on the same team once, for the Olympics. And they won! Imagine that. They say they’re friends too, even though they’re always battlin’ on the court. Guess that’s how it goes sometimes.
When you look at all the numbers, it gets confusing. LeBron shoots better from the field, but Steph’s better at those three-pointers and free throws. In the playoffs, well, it’s a whole different story, I reckon. Seems like it depends on the day, who’s hot and who’s not.
So, who’s better? Beats me. They’re both good, real good. LeBron’s like that big ol’ tractor, powerful and steady. Steph’s like a hummingbird, quick and zippy. You need both kinds to make a farm work, I always say. And maybe you need both kinds to make a good basketball team too.
At the end of the day, it’s just a game, right? Folks get all worked up about it, but it ain’t life or death. Just enjoy the show, that’s what I say. And these two fellas, LeBron and Steph, they sure put on a good show.
They have all sorts of numbers and stats, comparing every little thing. Contracts, awards, how many points they score, all that jazz. But me, I just like watchin’ ’em play. It’s excitin’, you know? Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
So, there you have it. My take on LeBron and Steph. Probably didn’t make much sense to you city folk, but that’s just how I see it. They’re both great players, different but great. And that’s all there is to it.
