Okay, so I’ve been seeing these magnetic golf bracelets everywhere, and I finally caved and decided to try one out. I’m not gonna lie, I was super skeptical. I mean, magnets helping my golf game? It sounded a little…out there.

First things first, I picked one up. I didn’t go for anything fancy, just a basic one. I figured if it didn’t work, I wouldn’t be out too much money.
The Experiment Begins
I wore the bracelet for a full week, both on and off the course. My routine looked something like this:
- Monday: Wore it all day, just to get used to it. Felt nothing different, honestly.
- Tuesday: Hit the driving range. Still nothing noticeable. My swing felt the same, my shots were my usual (sometimes good, sometimes…not so good).
- Wednesday: Played 9 holes. I kept waiting for some magical improvement, but nope. Still slicing the ball like a pro.
- Thursday: rest day.
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday: More practice, more rounds. still nothing.
Honestly, by the end of the week, I was pretty much convinced it was just a regular bracelet. My scores were about the same, my swing felt identical, and I didn’t feel any extra energy or focus like some people claim.
I even tried focusing on the bracelet, you know, like really believing it would work. I thought maybe there was a placebo effect I could tap into. No dice.
The Result
I did my best to give it a chance, But the bracelet didn’t seem to do anything for my golf game. I’m a bit bummed, it would have been nice. Maybe it works for some people, but it definitely didn’t do anything for me. It’s back to the drawing board (and the practice range) for me!
