Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Minecart Madness in Brawl Stars, trying to figure out the absolute BEST brawlers to dominate this mode. I spent a good chunk of my day experimenting, getting wrecked, and occasionally, pulling off some sweet victories. Here’s the lowdown on what I discovered:

My Testing Process (and Pain)
First, I just jumped in with some of my favorite brawlers. You know, the ones I thought would be good. Big mistake. I got absolutely demolished by long-range brawlers I hadn’t even considered. Shelly? Useless. Bull? Couldn’t get close enough. I was basically a free kill, feeding the enemy team super after super.
So, I went back to the drawing board (aka my comfy gaming chair) and started thinking about what actually works in Minecart Madness. It’s all about controlling the minecart, right? And dealing damage while it’s moving. And surviving. Lots of surviving.
The “Aha!” Moment
It hit me: long-range and area control are KING. Brawlers who can poke from a distance, or lock down areas around the cart, are golden. I started experimenting with brawlers I usually overlook.
The Experiments and Results
- Sprout: Oh. My. Goodness. Sprout is an absolute MONSTER in this mode. I could toss his super over walls, blocking off the enemy’s approach to the cart, or use it to push enemies away from the cart when we were trying to capture it. His regular attack is also great for poking enemies hiding behind the cart. It bounced everywhere. Seriously a game-changer.
- Barley: Another winner! Barley’s area denial is just brutal. I could lay down his attack on the tracks, forcing enemies to take damage if they wanted to get near the cart. His super is also amazing for clearing out a crowded area.
- Penny: She was a bit of a surprise. Her turret, placed strategically near the track, provided constant pressure. And her splash damage from her main attack was great for hitting multiple enemies clustered around the cart.
- Tick: Don’t get me even started, Tick’s attack can cover a wide area of the track making sure that enemies can’t come close.
- 8-Bit: I initially doubted him because of his slow speed, but his damage output is insane. I placed his turret near the track and just melted enemies. The key was staying close to my teammates for protection.
The Ones That Flopped
Like I mentioned earlier, close-range brawlers were generally a disaster. I also tried some support brawlers, like Poco, but they just didn’t have the impact I needed. They couldn’t control the space around the cart effectively.
My Final Thoughts (For Now)
My top picks for Minecart Madness, based on my (sometimes painful) experiments, are definitely Sprout, Barley, Penny, and 8-Bit. Tick is also really good. They all offer a great combination of range, area control, and damage. I’m still experimenting, though! There might be some hidden gems I haven’t discovered yet. I’ll keep playing and update things accordingly. If you have any that you want me to try, tell me!
