Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into MLB The Show 24, and one thing I really wanted to figure out was this whole trade request thing. I mean, who hasn’t dreamed of forcing their way onto their favorite team, right?
So, I started a new “Road to the Show” career. Picked my position, got drafted by some random team… you know, the usual. The first few weeks, I was just grinding, trying to boost my player’s stats. I figured you probably couldn’t just demand a trade right out of the gate. It’s like, you gotta prove you’re worth trading for, you feel me?
My Attempts at Trade Request
I kept checking the menus, looking for some kind of “request trade” button. I went through everything:
- My Player: Nope, nothing there.
- My Career: Still nothing.
- Locker Room options: Strike three! I try check on the menu every time.
After a few more weeks I got it down!
I did a little digging online. Turns out, it’s not some hidden button you press. I started paying more attention to the interactions with my agent. I found that there were dialogue options when my agent would reach out. I was looking for options that was about getting traded.
So, I kept playing, kept performing well, and made sure to always select those agent-related options. I select the dialogue options that were about getting traded.
Finally, it happened! My agent called, we had a chat, and boom – I was on the trading block! I did not get to select my team.
It wasn’t instant, but it worked. It’s all about playing the long game, building your value, and making your desires known through those agent conversations.
