Okay, so I’ve been grinding on Monopoly Go, like everyone else, I guess. And this Posh Prix thing? It’s been a rollercoaster, let me tell you.
I started out, you know, just casually rolling, collecting my daily treats, doing the quick wins. I wasn’t really paying much attention to the tournaments at first. I figured, “Eh, I’ll just do my thing.” Big mistake. I totally missed out some good rewards for the first day, beacuse I didn’t pay much attention to the Posh Prix tournament.
Then, I saw some folks in my Monopoly Go group chat talking about how they were racking up points in Posh Prix. And the rewards that can achieve? I must get it! So, I got a little FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) and decided to actually try.
My first move was to actually look at the tournament details. Duh, right? But seriously, I had just been ignoring that whole section of the game. I saw that it was all about landing on specific tiles – Chance, Community Chest, and Railroad. Okay, game plan formed.
Next, I started being way more strategic with my dice rolls. Before, I was just hitting “roll” and hoping for the best. Now, I was actually trying to use my multipliers when I was close to those key tiles. Higher multipliers mean more points, you know? Simple, but it made a huge difference.
- I saved up a bunch of dice.
- Waiting for a time when I had like, 20 minutes to just focus.
- Then I started rolling, aiming for those Chance, Community Chest, and Railroad squares.
I also noticed that landing on a Railroad during Posh Prix is super valuable because it triggers the mini-games (Shutdown and Bank Heist). And those give you tournament points too! So, I was actively hoping to land on Railroads. It was a total shift in how I was playing.
One thing I didn’t do, which I saw some people suggesting, was to spend real money. I’m trying to keep this game free-to-play, so I had to rely on strategy (and a bit of luck) instead of just buying my way to the top.
The Result?
Well, I didn’t win, obviously. I’m not that good (or lucky). But I definitely climbed up the leaderboard a lot higher than I would have if I’d just kept ignoring the tournament. I got some cool rewards. So I will do it again for the next tournament.
So, my Posh Prix experience was a lesson learned. Pay attention to the tournaments. Be strategic. And don’t be afraid to use those multipliers! It’s more fun when you’re actually playing the game, you know?
