Yesterday, I wanted to watch that match between Nakashima and Humbert, but I really didn’t know how to get it. I have heard of it before, but I had no idea how to find it. So, I did a simple search on Google and found some information, but it didn’t quite solve my problem. Then I spent a lot of time searching for information, which felt quite complicated, but I didn’t get anything in the end. At that time, I saw that there was a live broadcast of their match on May 7, 2022, but it had already passed. I was quite disappointed, feeling like I had missed a live match.
After thinking for a while, I decided to look for their match videos. I searched for their names and “match video” and finally found some clips. Although they were not complete matches, I could still see some highlights of their games. For example, I saw that Humbert won one match 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, which was really exciting.
Then, I thought I should record this process so that I could watch it next time. So, I started to look up how to record it. Since I am not very good at technology, I found some simple tools. I also found an online tool that can convert encoded URL strings into regular URL strings. This is really useful because some websites use special codes to protect their video links. After I converted the URL, I tried to download the video, but it didn’t work. I tried a few more times, but it still didn’t work.
Finally, I decided to use screen recording software. Although it was a bit troublesome, it was the only way I could think of. I found a free screen recording software, tested it a few times, and felt it was okay. Then, I found a complete match video of Nakashima and Humbert and started recording. During the recording process, I was a little nervous, afraid that something might go wrong. But in the end, I successfully recorded the entire match.
Although the process was a bit tortuous, I was very happy to finally be able to record their match. This way, I can watch it anytime I want in the future, and I don’t have to worry about missing the live broadcast anymore. And, I also learned a new skill, which is screen recording. Although it’s a bit tiring, it’s worth it.
Here are the key steps of what I did:
- Searched for Nakashima and Humbert’s match information.
- Found some match clips and saw some highlights.
- Tried to download the video using an online URL conversion tool, but failed.
- Used screen recording software to record the entire match video.
This experience let me know that although sometimes it’s hard to find what you want, as long as you don’t give up, you can always find a way. And, you can learn new skills in the process, which is also a great thing.
Next time when you find a stream, you know what to do!
It was a pain, but hey, I got it done!
