Okay, so I’ve been meaning to catch this Navy vs. Colgate game for a while now. Finally got around to it this past Saturday. It was a noon game, which was perfect cause I had the whole afternoon free afterward. I wanted to see these two teams go at it, especially since it’s a Patriot League battle and all.
I decided to watch it on CBS Sports Network. I mean, who needs to be there in person when you’ve got a comfy couch and a big screen, right? I got all my snacks ready, a cold drink, and settled in. The game started, and it was pretty intense from the get-go. Both teams came out strong, but you could tell they were both a bit shaky. I think the pressure of the Patriot League got to them, maybe?
As the game went on, I started jotting down some notes, just for fun. It’s always interesting to see how these college games play out, especially when both teams are pretty evenly matched. I noticed that both Navy and Colgate were playing hard, but there were a lot of turnovers, missed shots, you know, the usual college basketball stuff.
Watching Online
- Tried a free trial: First, I looked up how to watch it online without paying. Found out about DirecTV Stream and Fubo TV offering free trials. That sounded good.
- Considered Paramount+: Then, there was this Paramount+ option. Seemed like another way to get the game.
- Checked ESPN2: I also heard the game might be on ESPN2. I thought, “Great, more choices!”
- Used *: Since I have a subscription, I could use *. Easy access, I thought.
By the second half, things started to get really interesting. Colgate took the lead, and Navy was trying to catch up. There were some great plays, some not-so-great ones, but overall, it was a pretty good game. I even texted a buddy of mine who’s a big college basketball fan. We were both going back and forth about who we thought would win.
In the end, Colgate pulled it off. They played really well in the last few minutes, and Navy just couldn’t keep up. It was a close one, though, which made it even more exciting. I was kind of bummed that I didn’t see it in person, but hey, watching it on TV was still a blast. Plus, I got to relax at home, which is always a plus.
After the game, I did a little digging online. I wanted to see what others were saying about the game, you know, get some different perspectives. Found some interesting articles and analyses. It’s always cool to see how other people saw the game, what they thought of the players, the strategies, all that jazz. It was a good way to spend a Saturday, I gotta say. Watching some college hoops, enjoying some snacks, and just chilling. Can’t beat that.
