Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this here… what’s it called? NCAA Football Deluxe Edition. Yeah, that’s the ticket. So, this here game, it’s supposed to be a big deal. Football game, you know? Like, them college boys, runnin’ around, throwin’ the pigskin. Sounds like a hoot, don’t it?
Now, they tellin’ me this Deluxe Edition, it’s somethin’ special. Costs more money, but you get more stuff. Like, you get to play it three whole days earlier than them other folks. Three days! That’s a lot of time to get good, you know? Beat your friends, show ’em who’s boss. They say it comes out on July 16th, this Deluxe thing. The regular one, that’s July 19th. Three days, I’m tellin’ ya!
And what else you get? Well, they say you get this “Ultimate Alumni Pack.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? I ain’t sure what it is, but it’s gotta be good, right? For that extra money, it better be. They also give you somethin’ called “College Football Points.” 4600 of ’em! Now, what in tarnation you do with them points? I reckon you can buy stuff in the game. Like, better players or somethin’. That’s what my grandson told me, anyways. He knows all about this video game stuff.
- Early Access – July 16th!
- Ultimate Alumni Pack – Whatever that is!
- 4600 College Football Points – Spend them points!
This game, they say it’s got all them college teams. 134 of ’em! That’s a whole lotta teams, ain’t it? Every school you ever heard of, and probably some you ain’t. They got this thing called “CampusIQ.” Sounds smart, but I bet it just makes the game harder. These young folks, they like things complicated. Me? I just wanna see them boys run and hit each other. That’s real football, you know?
They also got this “Ultimate Team” thing. My grandson, he’s always talkin’ ’bout it. You get to build your own team, pick your players. Sounds like a lot of work to me. But these kids, they love it. Spendin’ hours on it, I tell ya. I guess it’s fun, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Now, is this Deluxe Edition worth the extra money? That’s the real question, ain’t it? Well, if you gotta be the first one to play, and you want all them extra points and that Alumni Pack, then maybe it is. But if you’re like me, and you don’t mind waitin’ a few days, then maybe the regular one is just fine. It’s all up to you, I reckon. It’s your money, after all. Don’t let nobody tell you how to spend it.
But let me tell you somethin’, this here football game, it ain’t the real thing. Nothin’ beats goin’ to a real game, seein’ them boys play under the lights. Smellin’ the grass, hearin’ the crowd roar. That’s the good stuff. This video game stuff, it’s just for fun. A way to pass the time. But it ain’t the same, not by a long shot.
So, there you have it. My two cents on this here NCAA Football Deluxe Edition. Take it or leave it. I ain’t no expert, just an old lady tryin’ to make sense of this crazy world. But one thing I know, football is football, whether it’s on a screen or on a field. And that’s somethin’ worth gettin’ excited about, ain’t it?
And remember, July 16th for the Deluxe Edition, if you’re one of them fancy folks. July 19th for the rest of us. Now go on, get outta here, and let me get back to my stories. This talkin’ about video games is makin’ my head spin.
