It wasn’t like one guy totally dominated the other in their past meetings, seemed pretty competitive overall which makes this prediction even tougher.

Putting it Together
So, after looking at all that stuff – recent form (a bit mixed for both), head-to-head (competitive), the surface, and their styles – it’s still not an easy call. No way.
You got Tiafoe’s potential firepower versus Evans’ consistency and craftiness. If Tiafoe is ‘on’, hitting his spots, serving big, he’s really hard to stop. But if he’s spraying errors, Evans is the kind of guy who will just soak it up and frustrate him into more mistakes.
My Gut Feeling…
Honestly, this feels like a bit of a coin toss. But forced to choose? I’m leaning slightly towards Tiafoe. Why? Mostly because if the court plays reasonably quick, I think his power game might just have a slight edge. It feels like he has the higher ceiling in this matchup, even if his floor can sometimes be lower than Evans’. Plus, sometimes you just gotta go with the guy who might put on more of a show, haha.
