Okay, so I’ve been playing a TON of Disney Dreamlight Valley lately. It’s so addictive! And like any good crafting/life-sim game, it’s got a bunch of cooking recipes. I decided I wanted to make ALL the recipes, and I stumbled upon this “Whimsical Pie” thing. Sounded interesting, so I figured, why not?

Finding the Recipe (Or Not!)
First things first, I needed to figure out how to even make this pie. I did some digging. I’ve gotta say, the game doesn’t exactly hold your hand. You really have to just mess around sometimes. It’s not always in a cookbook, sometimes you have to play to find it.
The Great Ingredient Hunt
The real fun began – hunting down the ingredients. Here’s what I figured out I needed, and my struggles to get them:
- Wheat: Okay, this one was easy. I already had a bunch growing in my garden. Goofy’s stall is your best friend for seeds if you’re starting out.
- Butter: Remy’s pantry, my friends! You gotta unlock his realm and his restaurant in the Valley, and then you can buy butter from him. A bit of a process, but worth it.
- Dreamlight Fruit: This got complicated. You’ll get it from Simba when his friendship levels gets high enough.
- Any Fruit(I use Apple): Any fruit that fits the sweet requirement.
Putting It All Together
Once I had everything, it was just a matter of going to a cooking station (I usually use the one in Remy’s restaurant because, well, it’s a restaurant). I tossed everything into the pot:
- Wheat
- Butter
- Dreamlight Fruit
- Apple
Then I hit “cook,” and bam! Whimsical Pie! It actually looked pretty cool, all swirly and colorful. It restores a decent amount of energy, but honestly, I just like having it in my collection. And, of course, I made sure to eat one. Gotta try your own cooking, right?
It was a fun journey with the ingredients, all worth it. I got to share my practice today. Hope you enjoy!
