Alright, let’s jaw about this Nick Saban fella and his house, or houses, I reckon. Folks keep jabberin’ ‘bout it, so I figured I’d put in my two cents, ya know?
Saban’s Got a Fancy Place Down in Florida
Heard tell this Saban fella, the football coach, went and bought himself a real fancy place down in Florida. Jupiter Island, they call it. Sounds right swanky, don’t it? They say he coughed up a whole heap of money for it, somethin’ like 17.5 million dollars! Can you imagine? That’s enough money to buy a whole town back home, I swear.
- Seventeen point five million dollars! Lord have mercy!
- That place gotta have golden toilets or somethin’.
- Florida, huh? Guess he likes the sunshine and the beach. Can’t blame him for that, I reckon. Beats the cold weather we get sometimes.
Now, they say this Florida house, it ain’t no ordinary shack. Nope. It’s got all them fancy things city folks like. Marble floors, they say. Shiny and cold, I bet. And a “floating staircase”? What in tarnation is that? Sounds like somethin’ outta a fairy tale. Then there’s the glass walls, floor to ceiling. Guess he wants to see everything, huh? Probably got a nice view of the water, too. They even say he got a dock and a boat lift. Must be nice to just hop in your boat and go fishin’ whenever you please.
But He’s Got a Place in Alabama Too, Ya Know
But hold on a minute, he ain’t just got that Florida place. He’s been coachin’ football in Alabama for a long time, so he’s gotta have a place there too, right? And sure enough, he does. They say it’s in Tuscaloosa, in some fancy area called North River. Probably a nice, big house, just like you’d expect for a fella like him.
Now, I ain’t seen either of these houses myself, mind you. I’m just tellin’ you what I heard. But from the sound of it, this Saban fella is doin’ alright for himself. He worked hard, I reckon, coachin’ all them football games. And now he’s got himself a couple of nice places to kick back and relax. He retired from coachin’ recently, you know. Said he’s been doin’ it for 51 years! That’s a long time to be yellin’ at young fellas on a football field.
A Little Bit About the Man Himself
This Saban fella, he seems like a decent enough sort, from what I can tell. Been married to the same woman, Terry, since 1971. That’s a long time these days. Shows he’s got some stick-to-it-iveness, I reckon. And he paid a good chunk of change in property taxes last year, over 130 thousand dollars. Course, he got a little break on that, a homestead exemption they call it. Saved him 50 thousand, they say. Still, that’s a lot of money to pay just to own a house. But I guess when you got millions, it don’t seem like so much.
He Bought the Florida Place Last Year
They say he bought that Florida place last year, in April. Paid cash, I bet. Folks had been tryin’ to sell it for a while, wanted even more money for it at first, somethin’ like 21.5 million. But Saban, he’s a smart fella, I reckon. He waited ‘em out and got it for a bit cheaper. Still a whole lotta money, though.
So, there you have it. A little bit about Nick Saban and his houses. He’s got a fancy place in Florida and a nice one in Alabama, too. Seems like he’s livin’ the good life, and good for him, I say. He earned it.
It’s All Public Record, Ya Know
And don’t you worry none about me knowin’ all this. They say it’s all public record, whatever that means. Guess you can just go down to the courthouse or somethin’ and look it up. But I ain’t got time for that. I got my own chores to do. Just thought I’d share what I heard with ya.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about fancy houses and millions of dollars is makin’ me hungry.
