Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this…thing, this “Ophidian Aspect” in that Destiny 2 game. My grandkids keep yappin’ about it, so I figured I’d try and make sense of it for ya.
First off, it’s somethin’ for those Warlock fellas, them space wizards. It’s a pair of fancy gloves, see? Gloves that make you a bit quicker on the draw. They call ’em “exotic gauntlets,” which just sounds like city-folk talk for “really good gloves” to me.
Now, how do you get your hands on these here gloves? Well, it ain’t easy, that’s for sure. It’s like findin’ a four-leaf clover in a hay field. You gotta get lucky, real lucky. They say you can get ’em from loot drops, whatever that means. Sounds like stuff that falls out of monsters or chests when you’re out there shootin’ things. They also say some fella named Xur sells ’em sometimes. Sounds like a traveling salesman to me, always showin’ up with somethin’ different.
- Loot Drops: Killin’ stuff, openin’ boxes.
- Nightfalls and Raids: Harder fights, better loot, I guess.
- Xur: That weird salesman guy.
So what do these gloves actually do? Well, they make you reload your guns faster. A lot faster, from what I hear. And they help you aim better when you’re jumpin’ around in the air. Now, I ain’t no space wizard, but even I can see why that’s useful. If you’re fightin’ those aliens, you wanna be shootin’ ’em, not fiddlin’ with your gun or missin’ all your shots because you’re floatin’ around like a feather.
My grandkids, they say it’s real good for that “PvP” stuff. That’s when you fight other players, not just the computer bad guys. Seems like these gloves give you an edge, make you a bit quicker than the other fella. They also say it ain’t so good for those “endgame PvE” things. That sounds like the really hard stuff, where you fight big bosses and need special tricks. Guess these gloves ain’t the trick for that, huh?
Now, some folks, they say these gloves ain’t all that great. They say there’s better stuff out there. But my grandkids, they keep comin’ back to these Ophidian Aspect gloves. They say it just feels good to use ‘em. Says it makes their space wizard feel smooth and fast. And in my experience, feelin’ good is half the battle. If you feel good, you fight good, right?
They also say somethin’ about “airborne effectiveness.” Sounds like city-folk talk again. Basically, it means you can shoot better while you’re in the air. Now, back in my day, we kept our feet on the ground when we were shootin’, but I guess these space wizards are different. They like to jump around, and these gloves help ‘em do it.
And if you ever get tired of these gloves, you can just break ’em down and get some Glimmer. Glimmer, that’s like the money in the game, I think. So you can always get somethin’ back, even if you don’t like the gloves. Sounds like a fair deal to me.
There’s even some story tied to these gloves. Somethin’ about a torn journal page. I ain’t read it, but my grandkids say it’s interesting. Me, I’m more interested in how they make you shoot faster. Story’s nice and all, but shootin’ faster is what wins fights.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about this Ophidian Aspect thing. It’s a pair of fancy gloves for space wizards that make you shoot faster and jump better. They ain’t easy to get, but if you’re lucky, maybe you’ll find ’em. And if you do, maybe you’ll be a bit better at shootin’ those aliens. And that, as they say, is a good thing.
Now go on and git, ya hear? And tell them space wizards to keep their feet on the ground, it’s safer that way!
