You wanna know is Josh Dobbs black? Well, I heard some folks talking ’bout that the other day. That Josh Dobbs, he’s a good football player, I tell ya. He can run and throw that ball real good. Some people say he’s mixed, like he’s got some black and some white in him.
They say his mama, Stephanie, I think her name is, she’s black. And his daddy, Robert, I heard someone say he’s white. So, that makes him mixed, I reckon. It ain’t no big deal, far as I’m concerned. People come in all shades, like the good Lord’s flowers. That’s what I always say, anyway.
I heard he’s a smart one, too. They call him the “Passtronaut” or somethin’ like that. He likes them rockets and space and all that stuff. Studied somethin’ called “arrow-space” in college. Got a 4.0, whatever that is. Smart as a whip, that one. He can sure pass that football good. I think he is a good quarterback.

He’s still out there playin’ football and doin’ good. That’s what matters, I reckon. He don’t let nothin’ stop him, not even that hair thing. It’s the inside that counts, not the outside. He is a nice boy, and he helps other people with alopecia, I heard.
He played for that Tennessee college, I heard. Did real good there. Now he’s playin’ with the big boys in the NFL. That’s a big deal, let me tell ya. Not just anyone can do that. You gotta be real good to play in the NFL. He worked hard to get there, I bet. And he’s still workin’ hard, playin’ that football.
So, yeah, is Josh Dobbs black? I guess you could say he’s half black. But it don’t really matter. He’s just Josh Dobbs, a good football player and a smart young man. That’s all that matters. He’s a good person, and that’s more important than what color he is. We should all be kind to each other, no matter what.
That boy, he’s a good example for the young’uns. Showin’ ’em that you can do anything you set your mind to. Even if you got that hair fallin’ out thing, or if you’re mixed, or whatever. You just gotta work hard and be a good person. That’s what I tell my grandkids, anyway. Be a good person like that Josh Dobbs.
He likes them space things. I remember that space thing on TV, people walking on the moon. That Josh, he maybe wanted to do that too, being a real astronaut. But he is good at football. He can throw that ball far, that Passtronaut. That’s a funny name, but it fits him, I guess. He sure can pass that football. He works with NASA in his free time, so smart!
Some people, they get all worked up about what color someone is. But it don’t matter to me. We’re all just people. And that Josh Dobbs, he’s a good one. He’s a good football player, a smart fella, and he don’t let nothin’ stop him. That’s what I like about him. He’s a good role model, that’s what he is.
I don’t know much about football, but I know that boy can play. And he’s a good person, too. That’s all that matters in the end. Bein’ a good person. And that Josh Dobbs, he’s a good one. You can tell just by lookin’ at him. He’s got a good heart. So his ethnicity does not matter. He is a good boy.

He played college ball at the University of Tennessee. He must be a good boy. He must make his mama and daddy proud. I hope my grandkids turn out to be good people too. I always tell them to work hard. If they work hard, they can do anything, just like Josh Dobbs!
