Okay, so today I decided to dig into the “Ramos Vinolas vs Alcaraz” match. I’ve been hearing a lot about Alcaraz, the young gun, and Ramos Vinolas, the seasoned veteran. I wanted to see the match for myself and get a feel for their playing styles.

First, I started by searching for a replay of the match. It took a bit of clicking around, but I finally found a full-length video. Good quality, too, which is always a plus. I really hate those grainy videos, right?
Match observation Record
- I observed Alcaraz, he’s super aggressive, really going for those big shots. I must say he’s athletic.
- Ramos Vinolas, on the other hand, he’s way more about placement and strategy. He’s like the chess player of tennis, you know?
- I noticed the rallies. The back-and-forth was intense! There were some seriously long exchanges, testing both players’ endurance.
I spent a solid couple of hours watching, pausing, and rewinding. I wanted to really analyze their footwork, their shot selection, how they handled pressure points… all that good stuff. I even took some notes like a real sports analyst, haha!
I concluded from my little viewing session that experience did play an important role in tennis. The old saying “old but gold” works.
After watching, I felt like I had a much better understanding of both players. It’s one thing to read about them, but seeing them in action is totally different.
