Alright, so I wanted to get a better handle on the Lakers’ roster situation, you know, see who’s playing where and all that. So I decided to make my own Lakers depth chart. It’s not rocket science, but it helps me keep things straight.

Starting Point
First, I needed to know who’s even on the team! So I started by just listing all players that I remenber.
Figuring Out Positions
Next, I had to figure out everyone’s primary position. Some guys are obvious, like, LeBron is, well, LeBron, he can play pretty much anywhere. But others, I had to think a bit. Sometimes, I had some memory, I watched some games, I could guess some guys’s positions.
Putting It All Together
Finally, I put all toghter, and classified them by positions.
- Point Guards:
- D’Angelo Russell
- Gabe Vincent
- Jalen Hood-Schifino
- Scotty Pippen Jr.(Two-way)
- Shooting Guards:
- Austin Reaves
- Max Christie
- Cam Reddish
- Small Forwards:
- LeBron James
- Taurean Prince
- Maxwell Lewis
- Power Forwards:
- Rui Hachimura
- Jarred Vanderbilt
- (Maybe LeBron, in some lineups, right?)
- Centers:
- Anthony Davis
- Jaxson Hayes
- Christian Wood
And that’s it! Not the best job, I think, but the depth chart I created could help me quickly know Lakers’ players distribution.
