Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s jaw about this houston wwe thing, alright? I reckon it’s some kinda wrestlin’ show, like them fellas on TV, always grunting and jumpin’ around.
Now, they tellin’ me this here wwe raw is comin’ to the Toyota Center in Houston. They say it’s gonna be on December 30th, last Monday of the year. Sounds like a big to-do, folks gettin’ all riled up to see their favorite strong fellas and gals.
They got a whole mess of ’em, these wrestlers. Names like Gunther, that’s the World Heavy Weight Champion they say, and Damian Priest, and Drew McIntyre. There’s even a fella named Main Event Jey Uso and another one called Sami Zayn. Sounds like a bunch of made-up names to me, but I guess that’s how they do things in the wrestlin’ world.
- World Heavy Weight Champion Gunther
- Damian Priest
- Drew McIntyre
- Main Event Jey Uso
- Sami Zayn
And the women ain’t sittin’ this one out neither. They got themselves a Women’s World Champion, a gal named Liv Morgan. Plus, there’s this group called The New Day. Sounds cheerful enough, I reckon. They also got Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and WWE Women’s Champion Bayley, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill, Randy Orton, LA Knight, AJ Styles, Queen of the Ring Nia Jax, Kevin Owens all them other ones I don’t even know.
Now, these wrestlin’ matches, they say they last a good long while, two and a half, maybe three hours. That’s a heap of time to be watchin’ folks pretend to fight, if you ask me. But I guess people like it, all that stompin’ and shoutin’. Folks really go nuts for it! Cheer and scream and holler, just like that time when my prize-winning pig got loose.
They got all sorts of tickets you can buy. And seems if you wanna get up close and personal to those fellers, shake their hand and maybe get an autograph, well, that’s gonna cost ya. Heard tell it could be a thousand dollars, maybe even five thousand. Land sakes, that’s more than I paid for my mule!
They also havin’ a WWE Live Holiday Tour and they also havin’ something call a Monday Night Raw thing where I heard that you can see those wrestlers doin’ their thing and it’s supposed to be a real action-packed free-for-all. Sounds like a whole lotta commotion to me. But like I said, some folks enjoy it.
Seems like this WWE thing is comin’ to Houston a lot. They was here this summer too, back in July. So, if you missed ’em then, I reckon you got another chance to see all the hoopla. Don’t know why you’d want to, but to each their own, I always say.
Some folks been watchin’ this wrestlin’ stuff for years. I heard tell of a fella who used to watch it back when it was on somethin’ called DC20, back in the old days. He liked some other wrestlin’ thing better, called NWA, not this WWF stuff. I tell ya, these folks got their own lingo, just like them city slickers with their fancy cars and whatnot.
Anyways, if you’re itchin’ to see some wrestlin’, this houston wwe thing might just be for you. They got tickets you can buy for all sorts of shows, like this Monday Night Raw and that Friday Night Smackdown and even somethin’ called NXT 2.0. And then there’s the big ones, WrestleMania and Royal Rumble and SummerSlam. Sounds like a whole lot of wrestlin’ to me.
So, there you have it. That’s the lowdown on this here wwe deal comin’ to Houston. Go if you want, don’t go if you don’t. Me? I reckon I’ll stick to watchin’ the chickens peck in the yard. That’s enough excitement for an old gal like me. It’s a much more peaceful time I tell ya.
