Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “sila drink” thing all over my socials, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I’m always up for trying something new, especially if it looks kinda cool and different. So, I decided to give it a shot and, you know, document the whole messy process.

The Hunt for Ingredients
First things first, I needed to figure out what even goes into this thing. I did some digging around, looked at a bunch of pictures, a few posts, to find some kind of common * looks like the basics are some kind of fruit, maybe some spices, and definitely something fizzy.
Then off I went to raid my kitchen! Fortunately I have fresh fruits, spices, and drinks at home.
My Makeshift Sila Drink Recipe
Here’s what I ended up throwing together, based on my expert-level research (aka scrolling through random posts):
- Some Fruits:I grabbed the Watermelon, the grapes I had, and I ripped the small piece from it.
- Spices:I’m no spice expert, so I just pick up some cinnamon powder. I like the smell of that.
- Fizzy Stuff:I use my Sprite.
- Ice: I think it can make the dirnk taste good.
The Mixing Mayhem
Okay, time to actually make this drink. I started by washing the fruits, I like being clean.
After that, I take the grapes into the glass, and smash them. I add the cinnamon powder.
Then poured some of that Sprite in. I didn’t measure anything, just eyeballed it. Seemed about right.
Last step, added in some * I used the spoon to stir it.
The Taste Test
Alright, drumroll please… It was, uh, interesting. The Watermelon and grapes were definitely there, and the Sprite gave it a nice fizz. The cinnamon was a bit overpowering, though. Maybe I went a little overboard with that. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t exactly love at first sip either.

I add some more Sprite into my glass, and it taste much better!
Final Thoughts
So, would I make this sila drink again? Maybe. I think I need to tweak the recipe a bit. Less cinnamon, for sure. Maybe try different fruits? It’s definitely a fun little experiment, and it looks pretty cool in a glass, which is always a bonus. If you’re feeling adventurous, give it a shot! Just don’t blame me if you end up with a weird-tasting concoction. You’ve been warned!
