Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into fantasy football research, trying to figure out who to target in my upcoming drafts. The big question that kept popping up was: Drake London or Jahan Dotson? Both are young, talented wide receivers, but who has the higher ceiling this year?

First, I started digging into their stats from last year. I pulled up their profiles on a few different sports websites. I wanted to see their targets, receptions, yards, touchdowns – the whole nine yards. I also looked at their snap counts to see how much they were actually on the field.
Round 1: Basic Stats
- London: Started strong but then kind of faded a little, especially with the QB situation in Atlanta.
- Dotson: Seemed to get better as the season went on, especially when he was healthy.
Then I moved on to watching some game film. I’m no expert, but I wanted to see their routes, how they get open, and how they look after the catch. My eyes aren’t as good at this as some of the pro scouts, I just had to see it for myself.
Round 2: The Eye Test
- London: Big, physical guy. Seemed good at contested catches.
- Dotson: Smooth route runner. Really quick and shifty.
Next, I started reading a bunch of articles and listening to podcasts. I figured, why not see what the “experts” are saying? I checked out some fantasy football rankings and projections from various sources. Man, there are a LOT of opinions out there!
Round 3: Expert Opinions
- Some were really high on London because of his size and potential.
- Others favored Dotson, saying he’s more polished and has a better QB throwing to him.
After all that, I tried to factor in their team situations. You know, who’s their quarterback, what’s the offense like, are there other good receivers on the team? All that stuff matters.
Round 4: Team Context
- London: New QB in Atlanta, but also Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson to compete with for targets.
- Dotson: Terry McLaurin is there, but Sam Howell could be a decent QB.
Finally, I just went with my gut. I took all the info I gathered, all the opinions, all the stats, and I just made a decision. In a way, it is still something up in the air.
It’s still early, and things can change, but that’s my process for now. A lot of digging, and my head is still kind of spinning!
