Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with Tai Tuivasa for a while now, and I finally decided to do something crazy – I’m gonna try and document the process of, hypothetically, getting a tattoo inspired by him. I’m not actually getting inked today, folks, but let’s walk through this wild ride together!
![Tai Tuivasa Tattoo Guide: All of His Ink, Explained!](https://www.starkguitars.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/60efdb733c217ff6e0a814493e11c3d6.jpeg)
Phase 1: The Deep Dive
First things first, I immersed myself in everything Tuivasa. I mean, I watched all his fights, like, all of them. I scrolled through his Instagram, checked out interviews, the whole nine yards. I wanted to really understand the dude, his vibe, his style. What makes Tai, Tai?
Phase 2: Idea Brainstorm
Next up, I started brainstorming. What imagery screams “Bam Bam”? What could actually translate well into a tattoo? I jotted down a bunch of ideas, some good, some terrible:
- A shoey, obviously. But maybe too obvious?
- His walkout song lyrics…nah, too much text.
- A silhouette of him mid-KO? Getting warmer…
- Some sort of tribal-inspired design, reflecting his heritage? Bingo!
Phase 3: The Artist Hunt
Now, finding the right artist. This is HUGE. I needed someone who understood Polynesian art, someone who could capture that powerful, intricate style. I spent hours online, looking at portfolios, reading reviews. I even reached out to a few artists on Instagram, sending them some reference pics of Tuivasa and explaining my general idea.
Phase 4: Design Refinement
After a lot of back-and-forth, I will find an artist that works for me. Then, I can show him the reference picture that I had prepared. After all, I hope that the artist can design something meaningful for me.
Phase5: The Imaginary Ink
The design is finalized! I can totally picture this on my skin!.
So, that’s the journey, folks! From a crazy fan idea to a (hypothetical) awesome tattoo design. It just goes to show, if you’re passionate about something, even documenting the idea of it can be a blast. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll actually take the plunge… but for now, I’m happy with my imaginary ink!
