- Round 2: Closer round, but I still gave it to Canelo. He was landing the harder punches, even though Trout was busier.
- Round 3: This one was tougher. Trout started using his jab more effectively. I scored it for Trout, his first round on my card.
- Round 4: Canelo came back strong. I remember thinking at the time how he just seemed to be a step ahead. Edge to Canelo.
- Round 5:Very even round, these two giving their all out.I gave it to Canelo.

- Round 7: Canelo scored a knockdown! Big moment in the fight. Obviously, that’s a 10-8 round for Canelo.

After watching it and keeping track, my unofficial scorecard ended up being 116-111 for Canelo. I think the knockdown in the seventh was a huge factor. Without it, the fight would have been much closer on my *’s just one guy’s opinion, of course, but it’s how I saw it!
