Okay, so today I wanted to figure out how the tiebreaker works between the Suns and the Pelicans, because it’s been bugging me. I’ve watched a bunch of games, read some articles, and I still wasn’t 100% sure. So, I decided to just dive in and figure it out myself.
Digging into the Season Series
First, I pulled up the schedule for both teams. You know, just went game by game and tallied up the wins and losses between them. It’s kinda tedious, but I wanted to see it with my own eyes.
I created a simple little table on a piece of paper, nothing fancy:
- Game 1: Suns vs Pelicans – Who won?
- Game 2: Suns vs Pelicans – Who won?
- …and so on…
I went through each game and marked a “W” for the winner and an “L” for the loser. After I checked all of games that I can get, finally. I found out a clear result.
Head to Head Records
After I got done making the data, the next thing I did was just a simple comparing thing.
Based on my simple comparing, I figured out the clear winner between them. And I feel so good that I finally solved this problem by myself.
