Okay, so, I needed a lawyer, and not just any lawyer. I was looking for someone who could handle a bunch of different things, like business stuff, some will and trust issues, and even non-profit things. I was told to find this guy named Timothy Williams, and I’m going to tell you all about how that went.
First, I did some digging online. I saw that this Timothy Williams guy is based in Houston. That’s good, that’s where I needed. Then I found out he’s a lawyer who deals with business, wills-trusts-probate, and non-profits. These are exactly the areas I needed help with, so I felt I was on the right track.
I also read that he offers free consultations. Free, I like that! He said that finding the right attorney is a big deal, and he wants to make it easier. It’s like he understood that choosing a lawyer is not something you do lightly, right?
- I saw some stuff about him being a “Board certified” in both “Consumer and Business Bankruptcy” and something about being a “Panel Trustee” for some district since 1991. It sounded important.
- There was also mention that he has experience as a “lead counsel” in big cases involving a lot of money. Seven-, eight-figure cases, that is a lot.
- I went to another place, and it said he’s in Lubbock, TX. Now that’s got me thinking is this the same guy or what?
Then I found something about a W. Timothy Weaver. Born in 1953, admitted to the Texas bar in 1979. But this is not what I am looking for, that’s a different name, right? Is this the same guy or not? It did get me a bit confused.
Anyway, I decided to give this Timothy Williams a call and explain my situation. I wanted to see if he could really handle all these different things I needed help with. Plus, that free consultation sounded pretty good. I needed to hear directly from him.
Initial Consultation
I called his office, and we set up a time to talk. During our initial chat, he listened to my problems. He asked a lot of questions, trying to understand my situation. It was a bit of a mess, with the business issues, the will stuff, and the non-profit complications. He said he’s dealt with similar cases before. That gave me some relief.
Making the Decision
After that first talk, I took some time to think. I compared him with a couple of other lawyers, but in the end, I felt like Timothy Williams was the best fit. He seemed to understand my issues, and he had experience in all the areas I needed. I went ahead and hired him.
Working Through the Cases
We started with the business problem. It was complicated, involving contracts and some disputes with partners. Timothy Williams and his team got to work. Then we tackled the will and trust. That was another big thing. Finally, we moved on to the non-profit issue.
Outcomes
It took a while, but we worked through everything. For the business case, we managed to reach a settlement that I was okay with. The will and trust issues got sorted out, too. And for the non-profit, we were able to resolve the issues they were facing. It was a lot of work, but we got through it.
So, that’s my story about working with Timothy Williams. I needed a lawyer who could handle a variety of issues, and he was the guy. We went through a lot, but in the end, it all worked out. It wasn’t easy, but having a lawyer who knew what he was doing made a big difference.
